This is only for students who initially paid the £55 deposit for the Lake District Blencathra trip, have switched to the Juniper Hall trip and have still £20 to pay.
The day’s intensive fieldwork will provide students with day 3 of the A Level Geography 4 compulsory fieldwork days. A Level Geography requires the students to have completed a detailed geographical investigation of their own choosing, contributing to 20% of the total A level, and this trip will also enable students to further develop their geographical skills which will be transferable to their own investigation. The trip is likely to comprise of investigative studies for physical geography with particular focus on data collection for drainage basin hydrology supporting the unit Water and Carbon Cycles (final details TBC.). All activities will be lead by expert FSC staff. The cost of the visit includes all teaching and use of FSC equipment, travel to and from the location, afternoon cake and a cooked evening meal.
